Riley celebrated her 1st birthday on Saturday, June 20th in Long Beach, CA. Her uncle, Chris Hart, wanted her to have a jaw-dropping, show-stopping Strawberry Shortcake cake, so this was the Cake Mamas creation!

It was a 4 tier work of art. The bottom tier was Strawberry Shortcake, (of course). The second tier was Red Velvet. The third tier was Chocolate Banana. And the giant strawberry on top was a Brownie cake. Needless to say...It was the hit of the party!

Our very own Cake Mama Intern, Angel Favela turned 20 this July. Since she never celebrated her Quinceañera, she wanted to bring in her 20th with a bang!

A Pink Lady Bug Baby Shower Cake

Susan Jimenez ordered this really cute Pink Lady Bug for her daughter Vivian Rodriguez for her baby shower. She sent us the invitation, and this was our creation!

This 60th birthday cake was the hit of the party! Obviously, our client was an LV fan, so we had to make sure all of the details were perfect. It turned out great! We loved it, and so did our customer.

...Just the Purse

The purse was constructed with Rice Crispy Treats, then all the accents and details, like the zipper and handles were added to give it that finished look. They were all made from gum paste and fondant.

The Cutest Giraffe Cake EVER!

Our daughter Jordan went back and fourth with ideas and themes for her 4th birthday cake...First it was Blue's Clues, (which she doesn't even watch), then it was Sponge Bob, then it was a doggy. Finally, she decided on a giraffe! We made it cute and sweet, with a little purple bow. She loved it, and named it Little Buddy!

A SUPER Super Mario Bros. cake for our oldest "Little Cake Mama"

Jasmyn Copeland knew exactly what she wanted her 8th birthday cake to look like...Super Mario Bros! We celebrated with this awesome, show-stoppin', SUPER cake that was Chocolate Brownie on the bottom and Strawberry Pure on top. She loved it!

Golf and Snow...

When Caesar called to order a cake for his wife's 60th birthday he told us she loved to ski and loved to golf. We created a 2 tiered wonderland and gave her the best of both worlds...
The bottom is a blue ski scene with ski slopes and pink skis, just like hers. And the top is all about golf, with cute little "Justine" flags and golf balls all over.

A Jungle Cake with Jungle Animals...

This jungle cake was made for Zachery's First Birthday. He loves animals so we created a jungle with fun, cute animals, a waterfall and a great big giant tree going up the side, with an owl sitting on top! We loved this cake and so did his family!

This cake was made for Danielle Lane, who turned 25 on June 26th. She loves stars so this was her special birthday creation! (You can't really see them too well, but there were little black stars sticking out of the cake as well...It was very cute!)

A cute Doggy-themed cake for Jordyn!

This super cute doggy cake was made for Jordyn's 9th birthday. The top tier, which was a doggy bowl, was bone shaped cookie, (aka "Doggy Treats"). It was awesome and she said it was her "best birthday cake ever!"

"OMG thank you soooo much Cake Mamas! Jordyn's 9yr doggy themed cake was AWESOME and not to mention, DELISH! Everyone fell in love with it the minute I brought it out. The strawberry shortcake flavor is to die for, and the whole cake was finished off fairly soon. Jordyn was super stoked and labeled it, "THE BEST BIRTHDAY CAKE EVER!", she said she didn't like it, SHE LOOOOOVED IT!"

A Tokidoki Cake!

First of all...What is Tokidoki anyway???

We got an order for a "Tokidoki" cake and agreed to make it awesome. But what was it????

Well after "wikipidia-ing" it, we discovered this...
"Tokidoki is the Japanese-inspired lifestyle brand created in 2005 by Italian artist Simone Legno. This high-end urban underground fashion has grown to be a leading trend and has already collaborated with several industries such as Levi’s, Skull Candy, New Era, Mikasa, Fujitsu, Bearbrick, Ride, Asics Onisuka Tiger, Hello Kitty, Smashbox, and Lesportsac."

AFTER we researched it and found out that it was kind of a big deal, we got to work. Hours and hours (I'm talking A LOT of hours) later, we had the perfect little Tokidoki tribute cake for Maricel Paguyo's 24th birthday.

We rainbow airbrushed a two tiered square cake, and then got busy making all the little characters to go all the way around it. It turned out great and she was really happy! (I loved the Latte guy!)

An Awesome Army Cake!

This cake was for Dominic's 3rd birthday. We sculpted a little "Private Dominic" with a mohawk (just like Dominic's)! It was a camouflage cake, with a large TANK on top, a little Private Dominic and a Dog Tag that wished him a Happy 3rd Birthday! It was amazing!

A Washington Huskies bound graduation cake...

Since Molly Novell graduated with a Princess Rose cake, we've had several requests for ROSE CAKES. Our roses are made of gumpaste, and are hand sculpted for each cake.

This Rose Graduation cake was made for Amanda Johnson who graduated this year fro Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach, CA. She will be continuing her education at Washington State University, (hence the gold and purple) and will be playing on the basketball team sporting her new purple #4 jersey:)

A Graduation cake for a Rose Princess..

When Kathy Novell ordered a cake for her daughter, Molly Novell she gave us some basic information about Molly...

She Was A Rose Princess in 2009
She was on the Swim and Water Polo teams at her high school
She attended La Salle High School
She'd be attending University of Redlands in the fall

Well, after we "googled" her, (LOL), we realized she was kind of a big deal:) So, we wanted her cake to be too!

We put logos for both of her schools on the bottom tier, along with her navy blue bathing suit and water polo ball to throw some personal elementsin. We draped white roses over a glittery lilac second tier (which were the color of her Rose Princess dress and roses) and had extra rose petals falling down the cake. There was a sash with her name on it, a tiara and it was topped off with a navy blue graduation hat, just like she wore on graduation night 5/23.

Congratulations Molly! What great accomplishments!

Wedding Renewal Cake

Monica Ford and her husband had a little ceremony on Saturday, June 6th to renew their wedding vows. Awww...Isn't that so sweet!
They wanted something very simple, not very wedding-ish, but fun and modern, so this is what we came up with!

Mrs. Lutes, from La Rosa Elementary retired this June. Her fellow teachers ordered her this very special retirement cake to celebrate. Congrats Mrs. Lutes!

A Wild Child Baby Shower Cake!

This fun and funky zebra print and HOT pink cake was made for a baby shower for baby Mia of Glendale California.

"Janelle & Fabiola, I haven't had the chance to THANK YOU for the wonderful job you did with my Niece's Cake.. it was the BEST! We didn't even want to cut it because of how cute it looked! Since my birthday was that Friday May 15th before the baby shower, they also sang Happy Birthday to me @ The Shower, and since it had an "M" on it, it was like that cake was made especially for both my niece and I :) Not only did the cake look AMAZING, but it was DELICIOUS!! :) You are the BEST!!! & Very Talented... The 40 Min drive was WAY Worth It ... You are definitely our "Cake Mamas" from NOW ON!... Great Quality, Great Taste, Great Price... this is the "Touch" all bakers were missing... Another Wild Child Baby Shower Cake!...

You probably saw it on the home page, but this is the second edition of the Wild Child Baby Shower Cake. Almost all of the Baby Shower cake orders we have taken since making the above cake for Mardia's niece have had some sort of animal print on them! If we would've known our zebra print cakes were gonna be such a hit, we may have used that as our logo & website design! Lol! The zebra prints, no matter what color, are super fun and funky. We love em, keep em comin'!

A Leopard and Hot Pink Wild Child Shower Cake

This cake was made for another Wild Child Baby Shower. The Mommy-to-be loves leopard, and since she's having a girl, hot pink was the chosen color to bring this animal cake to life! The whit flowers and green polka dots were little additions that made the cake all tie in together perfectly!

What is a SANDRAIL anyway???

So apparently, sandrails are pretty cool...We had never even heard of a sandrail before Gisette Yanez came to us and asked us to make one for her husbands birthday. After many hours of research and consulting with almost every GUY we know, we pretty much blew her socks off!
